About This Trip

A spiritual journey to the sacred Muktinath Temple at 3,710 m, combining devotion, culture, and Himalayan scenery: begin with arrival and puja in Kathmandu, drive or fly to Pokhara for acclimatization and sightseeing, continue by road through scenic Mustang valleys to Jomsom and Kagbeni, and trek or take a short jeep ride to Muktinath for darshan at the temple and 108 waterspouts and the eternal flame; return via Jomsom and Pokhara with optional visits to Lumbini or Pokhara’s lakeside for relaxation. Includes guided temple rituals, accommodation, permits and transport, moderate-altitude trekking support, and local cultural experiences.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport, you will be greeted and assistance by our Representative. After completing your custom formalities, transfer to hotel for check-in. Late afternoon, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square (Kathmandu Durbar Square in front of the old royal palace of the former Kathmandu
Kingdom is one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal) or Swoyambhunath.
Swoyambhunath also known as Monkey Temple is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. Drive back to hotel.
Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 2

Kathmandu - Drive to Pokhara

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara (about 210 km, 6/7 hrs). En-route visit Manakamana Temple by Cable Car. After puja / darshan, continue drive to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara. Transfer to Hotel.
Overnight in Pokhara Hotel.

Day 3

Pokhara – Jomsom

After breakfast, Transfer to Jomsom (about 6/7 hours). Transfer to Hotel. Short walk to Jeep stand (10/15 mins).
Overnight in Jomsom Hotel.

Day 4

Jomsom – Marpha

Drive to Muktinath by Jeep (about 20 km, 1 hr. drive). Take off from Jeep and walk up (30/40 mins) to Muktinath Temple. OR You can take pony ride. Arrive in Temple. Muktinath is God of Salvation. It holds great significance for all spiritual people in the south Asian sub-continent. Have darshan and worship, walk back to Jeep station and drive to Marpha via Kagbeni. Surrounded by mountains, Marpha is characterized by beautiful, wide-roofed houses. The exterior part of houses is mural painted, which makes the aesthetic look. The desert-like settlement is adorned with dense apple orchards. This village is also very famous for photography and videography. On the clear days, the visibility of the surrounding areas, surrounded by mountain ranges, are unexplainable.
Overnight in Marpha Hotel.

Day 5

Jomsom – Pokhara

Drive back to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara. Transfer to Hotel. Visit, Devis fall, Gupteshwor Cave, World Peace Stupa and Boating on Fewa Lake, visit Taal Barahi Temple.
Overnight in Pokhara Hotel.

Day 6

Pokhara – Kathmandu

Early morning, sunrise, and Himalayan view from Sarangkot hill (subject to weather condition). Next, visit Bindabasini Temple. Drive to Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrive in Kathmandu; transfer to hotel for check-in.
Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 7

Kathmandu - Departure

After breakfast, proceed to visit Pashupatinath Temple in the morning and Later visit Boudhanath Stupa. Later, on time transfer to International Airport for onward destination.
